Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Alcaidesa → Ceuta

Distance: approx. 18 NM
Sailing time: 2.5–3 hours

• Departure from Alcaidesa and crossing the Strait of Gibraltar.
• Arrival and mooring in Ceuta Marina.
• Evening walk along the promenade and dinner in town.

Day 2 – Excursion to Chefchaouen (“The Blue City”)

Transport: local minibus from the Ceuta–Morocco border (approx. 1–1.5 hours each way)

• Crossing the border into Morocco.
• Visit to Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted medina in the Rif Mountains.
• Return to Ceuta for the night.

Day 3 – Ceuta → Tanger Ville

Distance: approx. 30 NM
Sailing time: 5–6 hours

• Sailing west through the Strait of Gibraltar into the Atlantic.
• Arrival at the modern Tanger Ville Marina.
• Customs and immigration clearance, followed by the first walk through the medina.

Day 4 – Tangier – Shore Day

• Exploration of the historic medina and Kasbah district.
• Trip to the Hercules Caves and Cape Spartel.
• Free time for markets, souvenirs, and local Moroccan cuisine.

Day 5 – Tanger Ville → Ceuta

Distance: approx. 30 NM
Sailing time: 5–6 hours

• Return passage through the Strait of Gibraltar.
• Overnight stay in Ceuta Marina.

Day 6 – Ceuta → Sotogrande

Distance: approx. 12–14 NM
Sailing time: around 2 hours

• Departure from Ceuta heading north along the Spanish coast.
• Arrival in Sotogrande Marina.
• Marina walk, restaurants, beach, and evening relaxation.

Day 7 – Sotogrande → Alcaidesa

Distance: approx. 9–10 NM
Sailing time: 1.5–2 hours

• Short coastal sail with views of the Rock of Gibraltar.
• Arrival at Alcaidesa Marina and end of the voyage.
