Cruise Wyprawa Karaiby 2019 - Szlakiem Czarnej Perły i nie tylko.

The Caribbean. A magical name, usually associated with pirates, paradise beaches, crooked palm trees, sunsets... In short, utter kitsch. This year, we decided to see if this association is justified. To reach these regions, we took up the challenge and in October, we will participate for the first time in the famous ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) regatta. This annual event, organized by the World Cruising Club, is the largest tourist and sailing event in the Atlantic. Held since 1986 (it first took place on November 25, 1986), it attracts over 200 yachts from around the world each year. The route covers approximately 2,800 nautical miles and takes an average of 14 to 21 days to complete. The regatta begins in November in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria (Canary Islands), and ends in Rodney Bay on Saint Lucia (Caribbean) – one of the most beautiful islands in the Lesser Antilles. Saint Lucia is the starting point of our Caribbean adventure. For almost six months, we will traverse the Caribbean Sea, reaching from Grenada in the south, through St. Vincent, Martinique, Dominica, the BVI, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands, among others, to Cuba and the Bahamas in the north. Along the way, we will likely visit the famous Wallilabou Bay on St. Lucia. Vincent, where "Pirates of the Caribbean" was filmed, the Tobago Cays, where Jack Sparrow was left for dead, and the island of Mustique, where you have the chance to meet the real Johnny Depp and many other stars, such as Mick Jagger and Tommy Hilfiger, who have residences here, or the popular singer Shania Twain. Reggae music lovers will have the chance to experience the music at its source – Jamaica. In Cienfuegos and Havana, we will search for the atmosphere that so captivated Ernest Hemingway. In June 2019, we will begin our visits to the USA, sailing from Miami to New York, from where we will return to our side of the Atlantic, only to revisit the same area – the Canary Islands – almost on the anniversary of the start of the ARC regatta. The expedition will, as always, take place on a perfectly prepared yacht equipped with all the necessary equipment required by British standards. Cruises will be led by experienced captains who are intimately familiar with both the yacht and the local waters. We invite all sailors curious about the world and ready to explore new lands and seas to come aboard. We encourage those who have already sailed with us to do so – we haven't been there yet! We guarantee everyone a fantastic time and an unforgettable experience!
